The Team

For this pioneering first world café in the region, Coach for Peace had the privilege of coordinating a wide palette of skills and talents contributed by the professionals who made up the team.     Shared values, a common intent, ample space for the expression of each team member and efficiency; all these ingredients were present to make the running of this world café a profoundly enriching and fun experience.

Organisation and Facilitation

Coach for Peace volunteers ensured the preparation and organisation as well as the running and facilitation of the event. Saba Imru designed the concept and roadmap, formed the team, led the project and facilitated the event.  Pascale de Senarclens co-facilitated the event with Saba in an easy, smooth-flowing partnership that respected the process while dancing with the collective creation emerging from the world cafe.

Hospitality

Albert Belville and Anne Marie Uldry, as leaders of Association Ressources and hosts of the event, determined the context and the raison d’être for the World Café for Journée Ressources.  They participated to the organisation, created a warm, welcoming space for the participants and also ensured the liaison with the venue.

Artwork

Graphic Artist Manuel Chopard authored all the event graphics and excelled at the live visual recording of the ideas and concepts emerging from the world café discussions.

Photography

Through a series of expressive shots, Frederik Beeftink’s sensitive art photography captured the subtle moods of the event and the inner worlds of the café participants.

Observation and Feedback

A group of experienced professionals offered their extensive work experience and keen sense of observation to give feedback on various aspects of the event: relevance, functioning, ease for participants, logistics, impact, etc. Catherine Delamare joined Albert and Anne-Marie in the Association Ressources observers team.  Feedback for Coach for Peace was given by Stella di Carli, Myriam Mayer and Jean François Mathieu. All the valuable comments by the observers will help us improve the delivery of future world cafés.
