The World Café JR
The Visuals
The first publicly announced world café in the Geneva region (Switzerland and France) took place on 28 March 2009.
This world café, organised and facilitated by Coach for Peace and hosted by Association Ressources, resulted in the identification of common trends amongst the participants, the shared creation of new knowledge and a vision for future actions.

The Backround
The Participants
This world café was organised for Association Ressources as an atypical debriefing session for the participants of the Journée Ressources, an open day on health and well-being that took place on 30 November 2008. The goal of this debriefing session was to strengthen relations, share values, create new synergies for the future, identify new projects and produce a free e-book with the conclusions.
The world café brought together the organisers, exhibitors, lecturers and volunteers of the Journée Ressources 2008, a large group of professionals in the health and well-being domain. The participants engaged in a rich conversation to share common values and future visions.
The Team
The Model
The Team of ten members was made up of Coach for Peace and Association Ressources volunteers, all experienced professionals in the coaching and-well being fields as well as a professional graphic artist and an art photographer who created the world café artwork.
The World Café is a conversational process that elicits the emergence of collective intelligence through a set of design principles. Elaborated by Juanita Brown and David Isaacs, this model is used world-wide and has created a global network of conversations that matter.
