| Coach for Peace at CERN, 9 October 2008

Coach for Peace Saba Imru was invited by the CERN Staff Association
to give a lecture at CERN's traditional Conférences du Soir. The topic
of the lecture was "Think Differently - How to be happier, more serene
and more efficient" and covered favourite coaching themes such as
understanding beliefs, managing inner states and using one's physiology
to provoke inner change.
This was a wonderful opportunity for Coach for Peace to introduce
the basic principles of coaching, a "soft" discipline, to a community
of scientists whose thinking skills are highly developed in the areas
of rational, analytical thought. Saba Imru paid tribute to the
extraordinary creativity of the CERN think tank and to the mind opening
discoveries in quantum physics which have served as a deeply inspiring
metaphor for all those engaged in exploring new ways of perceiving
reality and expanding people's thinking capacities.
